Lynn Ludemann has a background in floral design, watercolor and acrylic painting, and metal sculpture and jewelry---her style reflects the eclectic experience of a life lived in Northern California. She has been creating one of a kind clocks for over twenty years, incorporating found objects and metals and making witty and original use of vintage and recycled materials. She has been represented by galleries in the United States, Canada and Europe, and has been featured in Traditional Home Magazine, Renovation Style, Niche, The San Francisco Chronicle, and The Ultimate Clock Book. Recent exhibitions include a solo show at the Wynn Resort Las Vegas, and "Trashformations," organized by Lloyd Herman of the Whatcom Museum. Lynn is a high honors graduate of The University of California at Santa Barbara.
Fred Ludemann contributes over thirty years' experience as buyer, sales manager, and designer in the floral industry. His expertise includes the planning and creation of large scale floral installations, and he has worked with a variety of clients ranging from San Francisco social event planners to Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. Fred’s designs have earned the couple multiple awards for display. Fred and Lynn are both fourth generation Californians and are from pioneer nurseryman and florist families. They have three children.
Recently the couple relocated to the Sierra Nevada foothills, and Lynn has begun a series of landscape paintings of this beautiful and historic area.
"Objects that have outlived their original purpose get new life in the studio of Lynn Ludemann.
The California artist is a savior of scrap, and hers is a redemption based on beauty."
